Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to lead our design team and provide exceptional consultative design services to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for meeting with customers, understanding their project needs, and creating innovative design concepts that meet their personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers in the industry
  • Provide expert advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects
  • Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales and other goals
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging design trends in your market
  • Utilize design applications, such as Salesforce and proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler
  • Participate in local professional affiliations, such as ASID and NKBA
Requirements
  • Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years of interior design experience in lieu of design education
  • Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years
  • Prior retail/sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
  • Proficient in basic mathematical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
