About the Role

G.A.S. Global is seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Specialist to support the planning and implementation of quality management systems for offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality assurance support for assigned offshore projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Company Quality Manager to develop and implement quality management plans, ensuring effective quality control and assurance.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure the integrity of the Company Quality Management System (QMS) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality control specifications, inspection and test plans, and quality control plans to ensure the quality of works.
  • Ensure the preparation and issue of quality requirements to be incorporated into contractual documents with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support the management of nonconformities, promoting corrective actions to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes.
  • Collect and analyze project quality data to organize and lead the Company Quality Management Reviews.
  • Support the management of client lessons learned and customer satisfaction processes.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of quality experience with a demonstrable track record in project quality management in the offshore industry.
  • Previous experience in auditing quality management systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Working knowledge of welding processes and their application.
  • Working knowledge of NDE processes and their application.
  • Working knowledge of coating (NACE) processes and their application.
  • Experience in the development of inspection and test plans, project quality plans, and quality control inspection plans.
  • Working knowledge of QC inspection equipment calibration practices.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Working knowledge of the management of change process.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of project quality offshore experience as a project quality engineer in the offshore industry.

Additional Requirements

  • Office/field environment with flexibility in working hours to achieve assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel internationally to project job sites (assigned projects).
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a valid passport to travel internationally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to touch, feel, manipulate, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 lbs. and occasionally may be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
