RN Clinical Unit Supervisor Med Surg/Tele

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Unit Supervisor for our Medical Surgical and Telemetry units. As a Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of our units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement unit-specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency.
- Assist with unit orientation and training of new employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager to ensure the unit's success.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (individuals hired without a BSN will be required to complete a degree program within 5 years of their hire date).
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Minimum one (1) year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred.
