About the Role: We are currently seeking PRN Registered Nurses for all shifts, particularly those with experience in ICU or Step-down care. Your role will involve:
- Communicating effectively with physicians and colleagues regarding patient conditions and diagnostic results.
- Responding promptly to changes in patient status and treatment responses.
- Performing general nursing duties across various departments with appropriate supervision.
Our patients often present with complex medical conditions, including:
- Respiratory failure requiring advanced ventilation support.
- Management of chronic non-healing wounds.
- Long-term intravenous antibiotic therapy for complicated infections.
Shift Differentials: We offer additional compensation for night and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Louisiana.
- Preferred experience in ICU, Critical Care, or Step-Down settings.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
