About the Position

Norton Children's Medical Group, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to join its multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primarily outpatient mental health care at Norton Children's Medical Group - NuLu, a primary care practice on the Home of the Innocents campus in downtown Louisville.
  • Teach medical students, psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and psychology internship and postdoctoral trainees.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care with subspecialty support resources and opportunities for teaching and research.
  • Provide care for an underserved patient population up to age 18.
Requirements
  • Medical degree/diploma.
  • Residency and fellowship certification.
  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible.
