Position Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will utilize your expertise in Speech Therapy to contribute to an organization committed to enhancing the lives of others. This role emphasizes teamwork and a person-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and direct speech therapy interventions to support the rehabilitation of individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical histories, assess individuals, create treatment plans, and implement therapy.
  • Deliver precise evaluations, maintain documentation, and communicate essential medical information effectively.
  • Evaluate speech and language capabilities, development, articulation, and fluency disorders in assigned patients.
  • Design, execute, and assess personalized therapy plans, coordinating modifications with the Director of Clinical Services and the treating physician.
  • Identify and develop intervention strategies, regularly reviewing medical data to gauge the effectiveness of therapy services.
  • Educate individuals, families, and primary caregivers to promote optimal functioning and rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of home care services through timely documentation and sharing of relevant medical information.
  • Compile and document comprehensive evaluation reports detailing assessment methods, results, and diagnoses.
  • Record assessments, evaluations, therapy interventions, and patient progress in accordance with physician directives and organizational policies.
  • Address and resolve any concerns or complaints that arise.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure a safe environment for patients.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Commitment to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
