About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing nephrology care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis equipment as needed.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and patients.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Previous experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
