Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and verify coverage for various claims, ensuring that all relevant details are accurately documented.
• Determine liability by analyzing documents and conducting thorough telephone interviews with claimants and witnesses.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved in the claims process, including claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate and negotiate fair and equitable settlements directly with attorneys, taking into account complex coverage and liability issues.
• Handle medical payments and personal injury protection coverage claims with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and company policies, adhering to industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in claims adjusting or a related field.
• Texas Adjusters license is required; obtaining additional licenses may be necessary based on company needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and communicate with diverse groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex claims situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
