Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

GetMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in New Hampshire. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, using contrast agents, and applying other techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, including MRI machines, and ability to operate and maintain them safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
