Riccione Resources is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Controls Software Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Company Overview

We are a 25+ year old firm specializing in factory automation, robotics, and device control systems. Our client base consists of large domestic and global clients, with a staff of 25 engineers in the business unit, including 16 software engineers.

Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex PLC programs, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing PLC hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple PLC platforms, strong understanding of Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, and structured text, and proficiency in programming languages such as Siemens Scripting or Allen Bradley Scripting.

The selected candidate will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration and will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest PLC technologies and trends. Travel to customer sites will be required approximately 25% of the time.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Mathematics, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience as a PLC Programmer
  • Proficiency in multiple PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron)
  • Strong understanding of Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, and structured text
  • Experience with SCADA systems and HMI Development
Benefits

Our company offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 per annum, paid overtime (up to $20,000), and a 401(k) matching program that contributes 3-6% of the employee's salary. We also offer fully paid medical insurance for employees and their dependents.
