Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care to 4-6 patients per shift, including administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, and charting with timely documentation.
- Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- One year of experience in a Medical Surgical Unit
- Active Texas RN license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification
