Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience with Falcon aircraft models.
- Possession of an FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
- Ability to obtain APU & Engine Run certification on at least one Falcon model within six months.
- At least three years of supervisory experience in an aviation maintenance setting.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Quality Control systems and procedures relevant to aviation maintenance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly CFR parts 43, 91, 145, and 135.
- Solid understanding of aircraft modifications, service bulletins, and inspection requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- FAA Inspection Authorization.
- Associate degree in an aviation-related field.
The role involves working in hangar and ramp environments with varying temperatures typical of the region. The hangar will be climate-controlled for comfort.
Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate teams with the Customer Projects Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure efficient execution of aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Participate in customer debrief meetings for assigned aircraft.
- Assign maintenance technicians and Quality Control Inspectors to specific tasks and monitor their performance.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned crews, ensuring timely completion of work within budget.
- Drive team efficiency and manage resource allocation, including overtime assignments.
- Ensure compliance with technical data and maintenance manuals during task execution.
- Monitor crew performance to uphold quality standards and airworthiness.
- Ensure accurate completion of maintenance documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Facilitate shift transitions and crew assignments as needed.
- Collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to meet project timelines and budgetary goals.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance Inspectors to secure aircraft return-to-service approvals.
- Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness within the work environment.
- Supervise safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA standards.
- Encourage a workplace that fosters team success and monitors employee performance.
- Contribute to training needs assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold company policies and safety regulations while performing other duties as required.
