Railcar Technician

As a Railcar Mechanic at Rescar Companies, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective or worn components on railcar equipment to ensure safe working order.
Key Tasks:
- Diagnose and identify malfunctions in railcar equipment
- Inspect bearings, seals, gaskets, wheels, and coupler assemblies for repairs
- Test and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Clean units and components
- Ensure proper operation of railcar equipment
Requirements:
- A good work ethic and strong mechanical skills
- Experience with hand tools and previous mechanic experience desired
- Familiarity with welding a plus
- The desire to work hard and grow with a great company
