Railcar Technician

As a Railcar Mechanic at Rescar Companies, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective or worn components on railcar equipment to ensure safe working order.

Key Tasks:

• Diagnose and identify malfunctions in railcar equipment
• Inspect bearings, seals, gaskets, wheels, and coupler assemblies for repairs
• Test and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Clean units and components
• Ensure proper operation of railcar equipment

Requirements:

• A good work ethic and strong mechanical skills
• Experience with hand tools and previous mechanic experience desired
• Familiarity with welding a plus
• The desire to work hard and grow with a great company
