About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the sterile field to maintain asepsis and prevent contamination
  • Provide technical support to surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Assist with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting; experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
