Job Title: Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. You will work closely with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education to patients and families on cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the State of Connecticut.
  • BSN degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Experience working in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
