Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer orders to their homes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Act as a brand ambassador and promote the Kroger Seamless Experience and delivery process
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in good condition, resolving any issues that may occur
  • Maintain accurate records of customer deliveries and communicate with customers regarding any issues or changes to their delivery
  • Assist fellow drivers as needed and ensure a high level of professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers
  • Monitor and record temperatures to ensure food safety and handle products safely in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Complete pre-inspections of company vehicles and report any defects to supervisor
  • Operate company-provided technology devices for mapping and customer interaction
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Chauffeur's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must annually pass a DOT-regulated medical exam
