Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Allen Lund Company, LLC. This is a unique opportunity for a sales professional to leverage their skills and experience to drive business growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in non-asset based 3pl sales, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the industry. They will be responsible for developing systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management. The Sales Director will also work closely with the transportation brokers to maximize the volume of loads from new customers through ongoing sales meetings and strategy sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact new customers and secure sales through the use of unique skills, abilities, and competencies.
  • Develop strategies through prospect contact, proposal development and presentation, effective follow-up and account management.
  • Build a book of business by selling and closing new shippers.
  • Work independently but also in a team environment to achieve sales goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in non-asset based 3pl sales.
  • Bachelor Degree Required.
  • Experience in Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed ,and/or LTL freight.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for sales.

Estimated salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
