Job OverviewThe Millington-Memphis Airport is seeking dedicated individuals for various roles in aircraft fueling, including both supervisory and operational positions.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to pilots and passengers.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures at the ramp.
- Refuel and service aircraft with necessary fluids.
- Transport aircraft to and from hangars and tie-down locations as needed.
- Secure all aircraft properly.
- Utilize ground power units and manage lavatory services, including waste disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness of crew vehicles and ground service equipment (GSE).
- Perform routine maintenance and fueling of GSE.
- In supervisory roles, manage fuel orders, deliveries, and quality testing.
- Communicate effectively with customer service representatives and management via two-way radios.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of airport and FAA regulations and procedures.
- Ability to comprehend aviation terminology and communicate effectively with team members.
- Capacity to exercise independent judgment in various situations.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Mathematical skills for necessary calculations.
- Experience in fueling procedures across different aircraft types.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks and manual labor related to facilities and equipment upkeep.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and occupational hazards.
- Proficiency in operating various equipment, including fuel trucks and maintenance tools.
- Capability to assist with operations such as gate access and vendor escorting.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant education, training, and experience that demonstrate necessary skills.
- Prior experience in aircraft fueling is essential.
- For supervisory roles, prior management or leadership experience in aviation is preferred.
- Experience with general maintenance tasks is beneficial.
- Must possess a valid US driver's license with a clean record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and testing is required.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to identify and report safety hazards and deficiencies.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements for safety and operational practices.
- Quick learner with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Work environment is non-smoking.
