Job Title: Chemistry Instructor

Olympic College is seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach college-level courses in Chemistry and contribute to the academic success of our students.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Chemistry instructor who can provide high-quality teaching and mentorship to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemistry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach college-level courses in Chemistry, including lecture and laboratory sections
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering from a nationally accredited institution
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at a college level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
