Respiratory Therapist Nights Supplemental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at RHI Rehab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The primary responsibilities of this role include administering all types of therapies within the Respiratory Care Department to provide quality patient care for the adult rehabilitation population served from age 15 and older.
Additional duties may include:
- Attending inservice programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Maintaining adequate supplies in the work area
- Providing orientation to new employees and agency personnel
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess technical knowledge of various types of equipment in the department and their application, as well as thorough knowledge of cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology and pathology as it applies to any and all modes of respiratory therapy.
A graduate of an AMA-approved registry program, current valid Indiana license (or certification) as Registered Respiratory Therapist, and CPR certification in accordance with American Heart Association standards are required.
In addition, applicants must complete ACLS course and maintain certification within three months of hire date, and complete initial and ongoing competency training for drawing of Arterial Blood Gases as required by CLIA.
