Corrugated Ink Specialist

The Corrugated Ink Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality flexo inks. This includes initiating orders for ink to maintain optimal inventory levels and completing essential reports on production data, operational status, quality control, and safety.

• Utilize advanced spectrophotometers to achieve precise ink colors.
• Coordinate with production schedulers to ensure accurate ink quantities and timely deliveries.
• Perform routine end-of-month inventories for all inks and bases.
• Maintain a clean and organized ink kitchen at all times.
• Train operators on ink kitchen operations and color adjustments for optimal print quality.
• Monitor inactive ink usage and report monthly findings.
• Complete required reports promptly and accurately, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
• Dispose of inactive inks responsibly by blending them into alternative colors when possible.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Avoid scheduling conflicts while prioritizing cost-effectiveness, quality, and service goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior experience working with inks, printing, and color coordination

• Background in the corrugated industry
• Press Department Operator experience
• Education or training in art or design
