PACU Nurse PRN Position

We are seeking a skilled PACU Nurse to join our team at Los Robles Surgery Center. As a member of our ambulatory surgery center, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective nursing care to patients postoperatively.
Responsibilities- Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
- Monitor patients according to policy, including vital signs, temperature, and cardiac function
- Exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
- Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system
- Check dressings and/or operative sites of patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon
- Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families
- Ensure patients meet discharge criteria
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
- 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
- Active RN license as required by state of employment
- BCLS Certification upon certification not acceptable
- ACLS required within 30-days of hire
- PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
