The Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver at US Foods, Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of food products to customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods on designated routes, unloading products, and verifying accurate deliveries.

About the Role

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience

Requirements

  • Must have a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission (may be required in specific locations)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
