About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Journeyman to join our team at ISEC. As a Carpenter Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing high-level millwork, including woodwork, casework, and ornamental metalwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of architectural millwork, casework, and metalwork
  • Preplanning and preparation of tools, materials, and installation techniques
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to ISEC's Safety Program
  • Reporting workplace hazards and contributing to the overall success of the safety program

Requirements

  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as a finished carpenter
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision
  • Supply personal tools and be a union member where applicable

Physical Demands

  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds
  • Stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Use hands and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
  • See well (either naturally or with correction)
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
