Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Castillo & Vincent PLLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a thorough and accurate assessment of patients' oral health.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, working closely with dentists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, including assessments of teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, to identify any abnormalities or suspected diseases.
  • Collaborate with dentists to provide immediate attention to suspected lesions in the mouth or on the teeth.
  • Perform a range of procedures, including prophylaxis, full mouth debridement, root planning, and irrigation, to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Conduct X-rays (intraoral and extraoral) and perform in-office whitening procedures, including applying gingival isolation and bleaching gel.
  • Apply cavity-preventative agents, such as fluorides and pit and fissure sealants, to prevent tooth decay.
  • Recommend patients' recare intervals and follow-up needs to ensure ongoing oral health.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare operatory areas per guidelines prior to patient appointments.
  • Sterilize equipment and operatories per OSHA guidelines.
  • Assist other team members, including front office responsibilities.
  • Follow all OSHA and BBP (Blood borne Pathogen) federal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist certification in good standing with the State of TN.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certificate.

Compensation:

$40.00 per hour.
