The Outpatient Interventional Radiology Technologist at Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is integral in executing a variety of interventional imaging procedures utilizing X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound guidance. This role is essential in supporting operational functions while ensuring exceptional clinical quality and patient care.
- Complies with established Performance Standards, Policies, and Professional Behaviors
- Accurately prepares and positions patients for imaging examinations
- Assists medical professionals during interventional procedures
- Conducts quality assurance checks and equipment calibrations
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of all work areas and imaging equipment
- Engages in professional communication with patients and their families
- Participates in staff meetings and educational in-services
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Radiologic Technologist position must have graduated from an accredited radiography program. A valid NYS DOH license and ARRT(R) certification are mandatory. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity is advantageous.
Preferred qualifications include Advanced ARRT Certification in CT, Mammography, MRI, ARDMS, or NMTCB. Candidates must fulfill continuing education requirements and hold BLS certification from the AHA. A commitment to radiation safety and strong leadership capabilities are vital for this role.
