We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our manufacturing team, ensuring seamless execution of our quality system, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing quality, product quality, and compliance performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the manufacturing schedule, including Fill/Label operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement.
- Team Leadership: Actively manage the development, performance assessments, and succession plans of direct reports, providing coaching and mentorship to achieve goals and objectives.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure the manufacturing area is in a state of compliance and inspection readiness, and direct activities to maintain regulatory compliance with QuidelOrtho global policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify possible manufacturing constraints and improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives to drive efficiencies through simplification of processes and procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Actively participate in manufacturing daily meetings with cross-functional teams, and support internal and external audits.
- Education: Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manufacturing supervisor or similar leadership position.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software, ability to prioritize, lead, and/or support multiple projects at once, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
