About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Hematology and Oncology Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted cancer therapies, and other treatments.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of recent nursing experience, with a focus on hematology and oncology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
