Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at St. Nicholas Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and reviewing computerized and manual iso-dose plans, performing independent dosimetric checks, and annotating plans for easy implementation. This is a part-time opportunity, working 20 hours per week, with a day shift schedule (8am-4:30pm) and 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Implements and reviews computerized and manual iso-dose plans
Performs independent dosimetric checks and annotates plans for easy implementation
Fabricates customized shields if necessary, reviews patient treatment records for accuracy and recommends corrective action as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or Physics or two years experience as a Dosimetrist is required
2 years experience as Dosimetrist is preferred
Certified Medical Dosimetry (CMD) certification or eligible for certification, as defined by the Medical Dosimetry Certification board
