Job Title: Marine Outside Machinist

Tradesmen International is seeking a skilled Marine Outside Machinist to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective parts, and reassembling machinery using machinist's tools, chain hoists, and steel rollers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install ship machinery, such as propelling machinery and steering gear, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as machinist or industrial equipment repair.
  • Strong knowledge of machinist's tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
