The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Provide primary and secondary medical care to patients with various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, burn, and orthopedic injuries.
- Collaborate with physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
- Cultivate strong relationships with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
