About the Role

Cherry Coatings is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our field crews, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Operations
    • Manage and coordinate the activities of field crews, including scheduling, training, and quality control.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and provide guidance to field staff.
    • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop field staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve field staff's knowledge and skills.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to field staff.
    • Collaborate with HR to develop and implement policies and procedures related to field staff.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial paint and/or industrial flooring operations.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, productivity, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and field staff.
  • Bilingual preferred.
