Job Title: Home Health Care Night Nurse

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our Huntington Park, California location.


Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our NICU. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the NICU, utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
  • Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
  • Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
  • Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
  • Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Acute care facility experience
  • Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.
  • Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
