The Role
This position is field-based and focuses on supporting Abbott's Vascular division. Abbott Vascular is known for its innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective solutions for vascular diseases. Our product line includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters, vessel closure devices, and more.
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist in Coronary Care. This role involves case planning, providing support during procedures, and ensuring product utilization across the designated territory. The Clinical Specialist will educate and train healthcare professionals in hospital settings, promoting our Vascular products to meet sales objectives and enhance market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical expert for procedures and products, providing support during hospital cases.
- Engage with Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to promote the complete Coronary product line.
- Identify and address the clinical needs of existing and potential customers, demonstrating how our products can meet their objectives.
- Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision-makers.
- Provide clinical support during procedures, troubleshooting, and in-service education for our products.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations to keep customers informed about the latest developments in our product offerings.
- Attend clinical procedures in relevant hospital departments to ensure successful outcomes for customers and patients.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, collaborating with various teams to find effective solutions.
- Support the broader region as needed with case coverage beyond the defined territory.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
Preferred:
- Experience interacting with patients in a clinical or operating room environment.
- Relevant technical certification.
