Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team at Sustainable Talent. As a key member of our data collection and operation teams, you will serve as a liaison for the engineering team and work with our data engineering team to design engineering improvements to increase and scale operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and configure software systems for data collection and manage various types of data for testing and analysis.
  • Follow technical documentation related to ML/AI data collection and testing, ensuring standardized data operation practices.
  • Modify and execute Bash and Python scripts to meet the team's software needs.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, working within an automation framework.
  • Collaborate with development teams to execute software test plans and ensure the successful integration of software for AV technology systems.
  • Provide constructive feedback to engineers on methods and procedures for software operations and scaling.
  • Work in a hands-on, garage setting, supporting software testing and integration for AV systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in Software QA, with hands-on experience in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with automation frameworks is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using task management tools like Jira.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and adapt in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with cross-functional teams.
