Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will provide direct, safe, competent, and high-quality patient care in the Cardiology/Radiology department (Cath Lab). You will support the medical care of patients requiring various invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular, and interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in the Cardiology/Radiology department (Cath Lab)
  • Support the medical care of patients requiring various invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular, and interventional and therapeutic procedures
  • Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers to address the physical, general, and psychosocial needs of the patient
  • Utilize equipment in the unit/dept. (Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required)
Requirements:
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts based on needs of the department
  • Monday through Friday, with call required one evening per week and about every 5-6th weekend
  • Floating to other units/departments (PACU and Endoscopy)
