Position Overview:
This role entails the fabrication of commercial-grade aluminum doors and frames, utilizing industrial saws, CNC machinery, and MIG welding techniques within the Orlando, FL Service Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure aluminum extrusions for fabrication purposes.
- Assemble cut aluminum components and hardware into finished doors and frames.
- Verify materials against orders and conduct visual inspections of incoming supplies.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Job Duties:
- Actively participate in ensuring safety for oneself and colleagues at the facility, holding customers and contractors accountable for adhering to top-tier safety standards.
- Produce high-quality products with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure that orders adhere to internal timelines to meet customer expectations.
- Follow directives from management and team leads to complete daily assignments.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fabrication or construction.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in operating power tools, including electrical, hydraulic, and air-powered industrial machinery.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Essential Skills:
- Fabrication expertise
- MIG welding proficiency
Additional Skills:
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
Languages:
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
