About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Locksmith Technician to join our team. As a Lead Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential hardware, and working closely with our team to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform emergency work orders for commercial clients
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential hardware
  • Safe and card access experience is a plus
  • Install, repair, and maintain access control hardware
  • Modify hardware for locks
  • Create and maintain master key systems
  • Residential and commercial lock re-keying and pining
  • Interpret instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form
  • Troubleshoot with various variables in situations
  • Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and service equipment used
  • Read operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Write simple correspondence
  • Present information to customers and commercial clients
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Cut keys by code
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical hands-on field experience in locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades
  • Good relationship-building skills with a diverse population
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple functions at the same time
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Capable of working effectively as part of a team
  • Able to work safely on ladders
  • Ability to drive in compliance with company vehicle policy
  • Provide a high level of timely and accurate customer service
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, and stoop
  • Ability to reach above and below the shoulders
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground
  • Withstand external weather conditions year-round
