Cardiology Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to join our team at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. As a Cardiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Cardiology department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Perform echocardiography, EKG, and stress testing procedures with accuracy and precision.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound program.
- One year of experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, and Stress testing required.
- Adult and pediatric echo experience necessary.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
- RCS/RCIS/RCDS or ARDMS licensure or equivalent required.
- ARCS or CCI certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
