Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire ordered images, evaluating them for technical quality and sending them to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
  • Comprehend equipment and procedures for all specialists working within the facility.
  • Support the physician in patient examination, testing, and education.
  • Maintain individual credentials for radiography and log systems.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring consistent and frequent communication with patients and families.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report system problems promptly.
  • Perform multifunctional skills, including spirometry, patient vitals, and BMI, under the supervision of a physician.
Requirements:
  • Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting.
  • ARRT certification and Radiology Technologist license in the State of Maryland.
  • CPR certification.
  • 2+ years of medical office experience, with experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
