About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the execution of engineering efforts for the Space Systems and Hardware Integration for Novel Space Experiments (SSHINE) program in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Kirtland Air Force Base. The successful candidate will ensure customer technical success, manage engineering execution, and advance Infinity's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring customer technical success and managing engineering execution.
  • Providing technical guidance to multi-disciplined engineering teams and driving the technical direction of multiple, independent missions to success.
  • Leading and mentoring technical engineering teams to execute tasks, meet milestones, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Preparing for, attending, and briefing during technical execution and milestone meetings such as design reviews.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of engineering experience preferably within the DoD industry.
  • Experience with DoD space missions and programs.
  • Demonstrated cradle-to-grave technical leadership of space programs.
  • Experience managing/leading engineering and technical personnel.
  • Strong engineering and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.

Estimated Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
