Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Palmetto General Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine studies, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and computer analysis systems
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Maintain patient safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with medical staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals
  • Perform exams on patients of all ages and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • BS or AS degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medical Technology
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in radiopharmaceutical administration
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registration and licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT and/or CNMT, Florida License)
