Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of psychological assessment services, including diagnoses and treatment planning for complex or difficult patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Provide education and support to patients, family members, and significant others, promoting healthy coping strategies and improving overall well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- At least 1 year of experience as a professional psychologist, with at least one year equivalent to the GS-12 level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
