We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, utilizing a range of modalities and demographics.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, utilizing a range of modalities and demographics.
- Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support.
- Work closely with patients and team members to build personalized therapies, utilizing groundbreaking technologies and therapies.
- Participate in ongoing education and certification opportunities, as well as tuition reimbursement, to advance your professional development.
- Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
- Graduation from a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) and regionally accredited respiratory care program.
- Passing of the N.B.R.C. (National Board for Respiratory Care) registry exam within 13 months of hire date.
- Healthcare Provider Certification, with other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
- Strong customer service skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deal with confidential patient information.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR.
