The Structural Heart Medical Devices Group at Abbott Laboratories is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in St. Paul, MN.

About the Role
This position will play a critical role in supporting operations and contributing to the development of new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions while ensuring smooth product introductions.

Main Responsibilities
* Front-line engineer providing support to the operations team
* Conducting Process FMEAs and Process Validations to drive quality improvements
* Applying Lean manufacturing concepts to enhance labor efficiency and throughput
* Coordinating the design, procurement, build, and debug of tooling, machinery, and test equipment
* Collaborating with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability

Required Qualifications
* Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical or any engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience
* 0-3 years of manufacturing engineering experience (prior experience preferred but not required)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
* Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings
* Ability to lead and motivate peers, drive change, and solve problems creatively
