About the Position
CoStar Group seeks a highly skilled Quantitative Modeling Expert to join our team in Richmond. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced statistical models to analyze commercial real estate data. Your expertise will enable us to deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to our customers, helping them make informed decisions about their investments. You will work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of your models into our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement cutting-edge statistical models to analyze CRE data, including regression, machine learning, and time-series analysis.
• Collaborate with data analysts to design and implement data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data is available for modeling purposes.
• Work with engineering teams to integrate your models into our products and services, ensuring seamless user experience.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to business stakeholders on data-driven decision-making and strategy development.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in quantitative modeling and apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with a focus on quantitative modeling.
• 8+ years of experience in quantitative modeling, preferably in commercial real estate or finance industries.
• Strong background in statistical programming languages, such as R or Python, and experience with popular libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Estimated salary: $150,000 - $190,000 per year based on experience.
