We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at University of Utah Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures and providing direct patient care. This is a part-time position working evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4pm-9pm.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures and critique radiographs to ensure high-quality images.
- Apply principles of radiation safety during the process of acquiring radiographic images.
- Facilitate and coordinate imaging support in the operating room, patient care units, and clinics.
- Assess patient vital signs and conditions when indicated during procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel and service entities.
- May assist in orienting, training, and mentoring new employees or students on department workflow, practices, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare, clean, and stock rooms with supplies and linens.
- Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.
- ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R) (ARRT).
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
This position involves intensive work that may exert up to 100 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects, such as medical equipment, or patients while providing medical care.
Physical Requirements: Carrying, Climbing, Color Determination, Crawling, Lifting, Listening, Manual Dexterity, Near Vision, Pulling and/or Pushing, Reaching, Sitting, Speaking, Standing, Stooping and Crouching, Walking
