Pool Mentor

We're seeking a qualified Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School in Norwalk, CT.

Job Summary:

The Swim Instructor will be responsible for providing one-on-one swim instruction to students based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides personalized swim instruction to students of varying skill levels.
• Evaluates student progress and submits daily reports to management.
• Interacts with parents/guardians to provide updates on their child's swim skills and development.
• Maintains a safe and clean swimming environment by properly storing equipment and notifying management of any issues.
• Follows proper accident reporting procedures and promotes safety rules and regulations.
• Attends mandatory workshops and training sessions outside of regular working hours.

Requirements:

• 16+ years old.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
• Experience working as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or childcare provider preferred.

Work Environment:

Swim instructors work primarily in the pool with students. The job requires regular exposure to heat and humidity, with moderate noise levels.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
