Job Summary: The Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Cancer Care team within the Department of Palliative and Supportive Care.
About the Role: As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with a wide range of cancer types and across the disease trajectory. You will work collaboratively with a large interdisciplinary team, including psychology, social work, palliative medicine, medical and radiation oncology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and patient support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy to patients with cancer and their families
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in education and research activities to improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Psychology
- Experience working with patients with cancer and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
