Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Sonora Quest. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform waived and non-waived tests in an accurate and timely manner, with supervision.
  • Assist with department compliance with laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, receive, and process biological specimens into the laboratory.
  • Perform startup, calibration, and accuracy of procedures and instrumentation.
  • Exercise independent judgment and identify appropriate resources in performance of assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
  • Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation.
  • Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and medical terminology.
  • Previous experience with phlebotomy and processing.
